What is Self Storage?
Self storage is a new type of service which offers both personal and business users a storage solution which they basically control themselves. It is there for as
long as it is needed and can change as individuals' needs change. It is invariably the cost effective option with unrivalled flexibility to come and go as you please.
Are my personal items safe?
Each customer has their own high security, registered lock, for their storage unit. The site is securely fenced and has security lighting with digital
video CCTV surveillance. A unique wireless entry system ensures that only clients have access to the site.
What can I store?
Within reason most things. Furniture, household appliances, office equipment, personal effects, excess stock, documentation, files, clothes, plant equipment for
tradesman, boats, cars etc. What we are not permitted to store is anything inflammable, perishable or illegal.
How much space will I need and when can I access my unit?
As a rough guide our large unit can accommodate the contents of a medium sized 3 bedroom house. Our medium unit the contents of a one bedroom flat and our mini unit
a bed-sit. You have access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What is the minimum hire period and what notice that you require?
The minimum licence period is one month, after which only one week's notice of leaving is required.
Are there any other charges?
A security deposit the equivalent to one month's rental is paid on signing the licence. This is fully refundable on the return of padlock, keys, wireless fob and
leaving the unit in a clean and tidy condition.
Is there a minimum stay period?
No. You can stay as long as you have a need and prepayment discounts are available for those staying longer then six months.
What about insurance?
Contents insurance to the value of £2000 is included in the price you pay for your unit, however, we strongly advise that all goods have adequate insurance.
Many household policies do not provide the necessary cover.
